Nora's first evening

Nora came with me. She knows the rule about the chest because I told her on the bus, out loud, like a person who has been embarrassed before.

She does not want a boat. She might want a bed later. That is Marek's mail, not my promise.

The small jetty is smaller than I pictured. That is not a complaint. The guest chest had my name on a paper and I did not have to ask where to put the paper. I will be back Thursday if the bus agrees.

Paper on the chest is enough for a first night. If Thursday is fine, write me two lines. Roos does not get to expand the list by friendship alone.

Two lines sent. Thursday and the odd Sunday. I can be quiet. Roos says that is the local talent.
